Local Search Visibility refers to how visible a business is for customers that are trying to find the products or services provided by the business. To determine how visible a business is we first need to know what types of phrases consumers are entering when looking for that particular businesses products and services. Knowing the relevant keywords that people in the area are using we can then run a test to see where the business shows up for each of those unique searches. The resulting report is known as a ranking report.
Texas Professional Painting is located in San Antonio, Tx. I used the Google Keyword Planner to gather a set of keywords that www.TexasProfessionalPainting.com was optimized to for and had search volume. The search volume is based on what Google has seen as average over the last 12 months for the San Antonio area.
Next, these keywords are sorted by their suggested bid value, a value that Google suggests for its pay per click advertising platform, because keywords that have higher bid values generally show to also have higher buyer intent.
Texas Professional Paintings website was found to target 26 keywords that had both search volume and bid value behind them. Of those 26, they ranked in the top 3 for 8 of the search phrases. The search phrases that landed in the top 3 are bold while those that missed the top three are in red. Google search, mobile search and maps search were all tested and recorded. Overall there are about 25 search phrases that will land in the top 3, however, the fact that these showed no suggested bid value in Google Adwords leaves me doubting they result in any sales.

This report will give insight into the health of the GMB profile and also allow us to see how Texas Professional Painting is holding up against the top 10 for the following search terms: “residential painters“, “professional painters“, “painting san antonio tx“, “painter san antonio” and “san antonio painters“. They get position 2 for “professional painters” and 3 for “painting san antonio tx“. If you look above at the spread sheet you will see those are their two most valuable search phrases.
Most of those top searches trigger the Google Snack Pack, where the top three are displayed in the Maps screen and everyone else is hidden under “More Places”.
